Yearling Prep
Curraghmore is based between Cambridge and Te Awamutu.
Work begins full-time from the earliest date possible in November 2017 to early February 2018 - fixed term.
We will be preparing approximately 35 yearlings for the Karaka Sales.
Applicants must have a good background in horses; be genuinely hard working; have good communication skills and importantly excel as a team player.
Good working conditions and accommodation may possibly be available.
A term at Curraghmore offers the successful applicant a true opportunity to learn good core practices with horses and work in general. Our aim is to develop a great team of people who will enjoy the summer working with well raised horses.

Night Foal Watch Person
We are seeking a Night Foal Watch Person to join our team based at Curraghmore, near Te Awamutu.
This is a part-time seasonal position where the successful applicant will be required for 2-5 six hour shifts per week during the foaling season on a roster basis.
The successful applicant will have good energy, a background with and passion for horses and very good stock sense. Previous experience/familiarity foaling mares would be beneficial.
You must be reliable, honest and able to work well with others and have the commitment required for this position.
