Weekend Wrap-Up 10.09.18

While there were no winners on the weekend two Curraghmore graduates put in runs worth mentioning.

Tulip (Pierro) was second up running in the Listed Bendigo Bank Stakes (1200m) at Moonee Valley and flew home to finish 5th, and only 1.1L off the winner.

The four-year-old mare, who was purchased for $400,000 out of Curraghmore's 2016 New Zealand Bloodstock draft, looks on target to win a nice race during the upcoming carnival.

In Singapore Red Dawn (Align) had to settle for another runner-up finish when competing over 1100m at Kranji.

Sold as a weanling at Karaka, Red Dawn appears to have returned to the form that has seen him collect six career wins previously.

Unfortunately Long Leaf (Fastnet Rock) didn't appear to appreciate the ground in Sydney and hopefully the run did not take too much out of him and he progresses well to his next start.
