So Far Sokool was the impressive winner of the Avondale Sunday Markets Fillies' Classic for two-year-olds on Anzac day.

Future plans for So Far Sokool are uncertain with Williams preferring to see how his daughter of Showcasing progresses in the next few days before setting anything in stone.

"The better track here probably helped her and we'll get her home and play it by ear, she's not very big and is still a bit fragile," he said.

When the favourite Piper issued a challenge into the straight it was answered emphatically by So Far Sokool, who dashed clear to win easing down by four and a half lengths.

Out of the Group Three-winning mare Sokool, she was quickly into stride and travelled comfortably to the turn under rider Mark Du Plessis.

This is also the family of stakes winner Pepper Mill who was successful in the Corin Murfitt Thanks for 50 Years Handicap at Riccarton on Saturday.

Curraghmore will sell a filly out of a sister to So Far Sokool at the NZB Weanling Sale next month. Lot 143 is by Power out of Kool Gal, a multiple race winner herself. – NZ Racing Desk.
