Curraghmore Stud, established in 1994, is located in the heart of the Waikato’s dairy farming region.  Based on 160 acres of gently rolling contour and outstanding facilities, Gordon Cunningham has developed Curraghmore into a high-class boarding farm.

In 2008 we began the development of our Te Awamutu farm which provides an excellent environment for young horses to grow to their potential. With a complete acreage of 270 acres both farms now complement each other with 'Curraghmore Care' of the highest quality.

With a growing reputation for producing racehorses that perform to the highest standards on the racetracks of Australasia and beyond, Curraghmore is consistenly a leading vendor at almost every New Zealand Bloodstock Sale. 

Top-class progeny to have graduated from Curraghmore to recent Gr 1 honours include Efficient (Melbourne Cup, VRC Derby), Fully Fledged (Manawatu Sires' Produce Stakes), Sousa (Spring Champion Stakes), Guillotine (Gr 2 Dato Tan Chim Nam Stakes, placed Gr 1 Yalumba Stakes) and Pre Eminence (Gr 3 Norman Robinson Stakes, placed Gr 1 VRC Derby) who have all done us proud.
